Appearance:
Practically black, opaque. Biege head with rather low retention.
Aroma:
Sweet, chocolate, coffee, somehow smoked (but it's not very clear feature). Malty aromas are moderate to high-moderate, on the same level I feel sultanas aroma, maybe plum or cherry. I can also smell something like diacetil? But not sure here, it's like toffie aroma. You can also feel some alcohol, but it's delicate. Its really pleasent.
Taste:
In terms of aromas its something like above but with less prominent esters. Its also less rich in taste than in smell. There is somethin roasty here, but Im not sure it's enough in terms of style. It reminds baltic porter but its clearly different. Aftertaste is rather dry with alcohol warmth, there is a bit smoke here aswell.
Mouthfeel:
It's not watery, but texture could be more dense, I suppose. There is warmth in aftertaste esspesially but its not unpleasent.
Overall:
Aroma is really nice, taste is less rich imo. However it could be more roasty I and more dense. And this toffie aroma... As I know it schould't be here, but it's not very prominent and I kind like it afterall. However chocolate, sultanas and smoke (delicate) aromas make it really interesting. In one sentence, it's okay but if it would be more roasty and more rich in taste it would be much better.
