Boy oh boy...
I don't drink a lot of sours. I don't generally enjoy them, but this was on sale so here we go.
Poured from a pint can into a beer glass, this brew pours an easy yellow color with a finger of head. The head dissipates after a short time, leaving just a little lacing around the edge. The first thing about a sour that you notice is the nose - they smell fruity, but not in the same way an IPA does. This beer has a very bright nose with a lot of lemon or other tart fruit up front, and of course the esters you expect from the variety.
It's pretty tart. Not as tart as some, but like a good lemonade without a ton of sugar. This flavor profile actually is almost candy-like. That's what I get from these beers - they're like a good, warm-weather candy. I'm having this in the depths of winter so the timing is a bit off, but if I was grabbing this out of an icebox on a 95 degree day I would not be disappointed.
Overall a good beer, even if the style isn't by favorite.

L: Poured from a tallboy can to a snifter glass. Had a pale yellow color and a slightly cloudy consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy, somewhat long-lasting head. Not a whole lot of lacing, though.
S: A sweet and enticing aroma of bananas, graham crackers, vanilla, wheat, and marshmallows.
T: Tasted of a small amount of wheat (mostly in the finish; a subtle backbone), a bit of marshmallows (quite sweet), a good shot of bananas (a large ingredient, but not dominant), a little citrus fruit (lemon), a bit of graham crackers, and a tinge of vanilla (a fleeting presence). This is a light, sweet, and likable flavor.
F: A fair amount of carbonation with a smooth and creamy finish. Light-bodied.
O: A very much enjoyable beer. Drinkable.
