This TIPA put in marshmallows, and they weren't lying. Usually a disappointment to see an ingredient that you can't draw out. The hops come through nicely with the marshmallow - almost like an ambrosia. Citrusy and tropical.

First of all, it's a great can. And it tells the story. A big beer. Lots of everything, from grapefruity hops to something sweetish to an alcohol kick. At the end of the day, though, it tastes a little mediciney to me.

Larger head (two fingers). A ring of lace forms as it recedes.Wide streaks thereafter. Super cloudy, apricot juice look, although darker--a light brown color.
Strong bittering hop with earthy overtones. Alcohol is present to the nose as well. There are some tropical fruit aromas way in the background.
The mouthfeel is creamy with a small amount of carbonation for balance. The malt start is similar to darker toast--there are no tropical flavors typical of this style. The hop is strong but certainly not overwhelming. Plenty of alcohol warmth. Overall, a rather two-dimensional beer.

Canned 3/22/22 so the retirement of this brew was premature.
Pours a hazy orange juice color with a small head and slight lacing.
Smells of grassy piney hops, citrus and sweet fruit.
Tastes slightly bitter from beginning to end along with mildly tart grapefruit, pineapple and sweet malt.
Medium heavy body with light carbonation. Lightly lush syrupy mouthfeel.
This is a dangerously drinkable, juicy, sneakily strong brew.

This was the first beer that I had from Tripping Animals and yes, it was a doozy! Plenty going on here but somehow, it meshed in the end as the flavors and heft were in good proportion here. Although this was listed as an Imperial IPA here, this felt just as much a Milkshake beer that was nice and sweet, as that aspect was nearly enough to hide the alcohol that was inherent in this!
The look to this was plenty cloudy when I poured it out as it had a deep, apricot hue to it but thankfully, was lacking any visible sediment in the liquid. A sufficient, moderate head topped it off as it settled slowly and evenly and left a decent amount of lacing behind. That was in the form of several well-defined rings that coated the entirety of my pint glass as each one bled down to the one below it. Lots of marshmallow, deep citrus, and dank berry in the nose as the taste burst forth with all of these were magnified after taking my first sip of this. Plenty sweet, sticky, and potent, there was a lot going on here as gooseberry and floral citrus notes emerged once this fully warmed up. Lots of sweetness and creaminess dominated here but there was enough else going on that this wasn't just a one-dimensional beer as this had nice, smooth feel to it that showcased each of it's hops equally while leaving an impression of s'mores behind on my palate.
That's not to say that this was halcyon in any way as indeed, it was quite strong in the end. Even if I couldn't taste the booze, it was there and lingered just as long as the taste did. A bit of sediment stuck around at the bottom of my pint glass but otherwise, this held up well since I picked it up at ShopRite Liquors in Little Falls nearly 2 1/2 months ago although I had no idea how old this was since there wasn't anything written on the bottom of the can. Enjoyed this beer and the label but be forewarned, something like this requires the time to savor it properly, It was subtly strong but worth taking the time for as there was plenty to relish here. For the transition from summer to fall, this fit the season perfectly.

King of Everything is semi-sweet IPA with a ton of grassy hops. It is a true triple with the big kick of the higher ABV. Plus, elephants are awesome.

I don't generally write reviews often anymore but when I saw this beer only had one review and it was a 4.1 I figured I should share my experiences. Triple IPA's are one of my favorite styles and this particular beer ranks up there with Finback and Equilibrium quality. I understand some people may find the marshmallow a bit to sweet but personally I thought they executed it perfectly. It gives the beer and excellent creamy mouthfeel and balances perfectly with all the citrus from the hops.
I know we all have different tastes but personally this may be my favorite triple of 2020. If you see it around i highly suggest trying it and judging it for yourself.
