Pours a nicely hazy golden orange color with a dense white head that is clingy all the way down the glass. Absolutely gorgeous beer. The nose is dank citrus, especially ripe tangerines and grapefruit and a nice dollop of pineapple and berry.
The taste follows the nose, with the tangerine, pineapple, and berry flavors shining - and then there’s the chalky malt flavor which works exceptionally well.
The mouthfeel has some bite, but is a bit watery, almost like it’s confused whether it’s aimed at WCIPA-ville of NEIPA-ville. Wherever it lands, this is a very tasty DIPA that I’d buy again.
