This one pours a ruddy looking brown color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This is very sweet on the nose, with something akin to wheat bread left out in the rain on the nose.
I guess I shouldn’t be surprised that Tripping Animals, a certified pastry and gloop factory, would not exactly excel at this sort of style. There’s no nuance here, it’s just a wave of overly sweet bready and toffee flavor, with no hop character and no balance at all. It just tastes like stale old bread covered in honey, or maybe even rainwater.
This is too thick for the style, and just not all that drinkable.
This was a just a whole mess, and can be safely skipped.

The pour is bronze colored with a faint amount of carbonation. The taste is bready, peppery, crisp, & smooth. Cheers! B
