Name: Bro, Where's My Head?
Brewery: Tripping Animals
Location: Doral, FL
Style: NEIPA
Date: 01/15/2023
I was excited to get a fresh can of NEIPA. I have never had a beer from this brewery. Using a tulip glass, I served it at around 44 degrees. The pour created a frothy one-fingered frothy, and creamy off-white head. The slow dissipation left some lacing on the glass. Charting the color of the beer around SRM 8, pale amber with a golden hue. The clarity is hazy with some carbonation. The appearance overall is above average.
Nosing the glass, I detect pineapple, oranges, mangos, a touch of floral, a touch of pine, lightly toasted malts, and a touch of grass.
Sipping the beer, I taste mangos, pineapple, oranges, a tinge of pine resins, lightly toasted malts, crackers, floral esters, grass, and a skosh of herbal.
The mouthfeel is creamy and astringent. The body is medium-plus, has a medium carbonation, and has a lasting finish.
This is a solid offering for NEIPA. I feel the hops are a bit muddled and not bright. Overall, I enjoyed this beer.

Beautiful hazy pineapple color with a dense white head, dank citrus notes are forward on the nose, with tangerine and pineapple most prominent, and there’s some berries and stone fruit as well. Very nice.
The dank citrus presents itself first on the taste as well, but it is the berry and stone fruit flavors I enjoy in this beer. The mouthfeel is commensurate with the heft of this beer (8.5% ABV), and is another outstanding juicy hop bomb from a fantastic brewery.
