16.9 oz waxed & logo stamped bottle, poured into a Teku glass in Toulouse, France. 2023 vint. Low foam on muddy black brew. That’s the only low spot for this gem though. Killer boozy nose of campfire marshmallows, chocolate, prunes. Tastes great - the whole idea of a S’more is in there and can be identified, item by item. The graham is a compliment. Great call to age 27 months in apple brandy barrels, not bourbon. After a year and a half waiting in the bottle, this elixir comes to life like a dark genie granting my wish. Not over dense, not over sweet. Low carbonation. Long boozy finish leaves a sticky lip.
Outstanding beer.

16.9 ounce wax capped bottle, 2023 vintage. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with just a small film of a tan head that didn't stay around for long. Not much lacing at all. The brew smells like marshmallows, graham crackers, chocolate, vanilla, roasted malt and some apple brandy. I think the taste is pretty much just like the aroma, but there's also some earthy and dark bready flavors too. I think the marshmallow, vanilla and graham cracker flavors stand out here, but don't overpower the other flavors either. Definitely a sweeter tasting imperial stout though! Mouthfeel/body is full, it's coating and a bit rich with a low/moderate amount of carbonation. I liked this one a lot, pretty pricey though but worth a try at least once. Recommended if you like S'mores stouts!
