Collaboration with 450 North Brewing Company
Miami’s very first XXL SLUSHY in collaboration with 450 North Brewing. This beer is a heavy symphony of banana, passionfruit, apricot, and waterfalls of cara cara orange.

Pours a dirty, kinda chunky yellow orange color and the picture makes it look MUCH better... yikes. A layer of foamy bubbles forms and actually lasts. Lots of sticking to the glass, but mainly the pulp floating to the top.
I smell everything it claims to have except the banana. Nice and fruity, mostly orange and passionfruit, then apricot and slightly tart, no beer, and somebody hid the banana.
This tastes like a straight up smoothie. The absent banana emerges and it seems to carry the other flavors, which are assertive and easily identified if you want to dissect things. Tartness from the fruits, but fairly mild and probably tempered by the banana.
It's not as thick as the pour would suggest. There's a nice tart tingle and a bit of rind-like bitterness but just a tad.
Well...I don't know about this one. Usually I can find some smidgen of beer in these things, but this one is straight up fruit smoothie. It's very tasty and I like it just fine. It's more of a pseudobeer than others of its ilk. Big flavors combined quite nicely, but I wish it retained a little beerdentity. Thumbs down for look and a tick down for smell, big ups on flavor and overall pleasant drinking.

Poured from a 16 oz can into a Dogfish Head tulip
L: Pond-scum pour. Thick viscous golden brown with debris and clotted gunk. A finger of scummy orange head. Great lacing. Looks kind of like dirty orange juice.
S: Strong banana. Orange and tart fruit.
T.F: Sweet tart. Strong orange and banana... passionfruit, guava, and vanilla. Creamy and thick mouthfeel... and the finish is more tart than sweet.
O: An outstanding fruited sour. Loads of flavor... easy drinking... pretty much fantastic.

16oz can into a pint glass yesterday afternoon.
Looks like pulpy orange juice in the glass. Small white head doesn't last long, a little lacing.
Strong aroma of mixed fruits, very enticing. Also manages to smell tart.
On tasting, sweet & tart fruit juice. Get all your recommended servings of fruit in one glass.
Mouth close to full, finish more tart that sweet.
Overall, nice drink once in a while. A session, or even 2, would be more that I could deal with.
