Dark amber body, clear; sparse carbonation; relatively thin head, a bit soapy, a bit creamy; sticking rings and patches of foam cling to the glass. Nicely balanced smell of mild malt and a decent sense of pine resin. Balanced taste; semi-sweet malt base infused with a spicy, resinous note and moderate hop bitterness. Medium-heavy body; feels glassy yet also has a bit of roughness on the palate; moderate dryness.
A pretty good interpretation of a west coast-style double India pale ale.
Pouring temperature: 53 °F; canning data: unknown

A: The beer is slightly hazy amber in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that quickly settled down, leaving a narrow collar around the edge and lots of lacing on the surface and down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of orange citrus and pine are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and also has a moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The smell and taste of this IPA have a nice balance between citrusy and piney hops.
