It pours from a pint can into a clear glass Imperial pint mug very thickly. There's sufficient head that makes emptying the can a two pour effort. You probably can't find a denser brew. The color is a dirty orange-amber that lets no light pass through. The head is a bit more than sufficient, albeit this was a room temperature pour, that's mostly light orange in color. There's no surprises here, as the aroma is of sour mangoes, more mango than sour. Way behind are other hints of malt and yeast. The first mouthfeel impression has to be how thickly rich this is. Wonderfully, this is as viscose as a smoothie, but without any other listed ingredients, like lactose. There's more than enough sourness to offset the sweetness of the fruit, in fact, this is more sour than sweet. Apparently a rare find at the time of this review, this is highly recommended because of its uniqueness. But, you'll have to like sours and the taste of mango to really enjoy it. The name doesn't lie, it's exactly what you'll get.
