Pours a cloudy amberish color with modest foam in the nonic. Totally fruity with an acidic sensation that gradually takes over. Citrus nose. Ludicrously hopped, not to mention the out of control ABV. Sharp and alcohol tasting with a blast of orange peel. Soapy aftertaste with that astringent murk. For fans only. From the 16 oz can purchased somewhere on the West Coast.

A pour which emptied a pint can into a clear Imperial pint glass revealed a dull orange-amber colored brew with very little head. There are beers with greater carbonation. An aroma that may be described as wet brings hops that seem earthy and resinous. It also drinks without much carbonation, but it has enough zest that it's not flat. Actually, it goes down almost too smoothly for something at a 10% ABV. There is enough alcohol that this is warming, but it doesn't adversely effect the taste. The body is sufficient enough to carry the alcohol and the hops. Kudos given for supplying so much alcohol so pleasantly, but the standout here is the hop blend. It's mildly juicy without being too sweet, earthy without being skunky and bitter without becoming astringent. Like many of the good ones do, it starts softly and somewhat sweetly, has a wonderfully complex mid-taste range, then finishes bitter enough to be drying. This is quite the treat for the taste buds. Plus, it is easily downed, which may lead to an uncomfortable morning after. But, one tastes so good, you'll probably go for that second, against better judgment.

Cloudy gray-hued orange with a fat finger if yellowed head. Decent retention and moderate, soapy lacing.
Orange with a little sugariness, mango, white pepper, jungle rot and weed in the nose.
Very hot tasting. More of that sugary orange up front and a hint of light pineapple with some fairly strong, grassy-pithy bitterness in the finish and aftertaste.
Medium bodied for a triple with modest carbonation.
Very alcohol-forward, even for the style, which I tend to enjoy. I like the bitter finish, but don’t get a lot of depth out of this otherwise.
