Color is pumped-stomach charcoal greyish-blackish-purple under nothing but an off-white collar of fine bubbles.
Super earthy, savory and starchy, this takes me all the way back to Hawaii's purple sweet potato pie topped with toasted coconut, or even rice pudding at times, including the cinnamon.
The medium-full not quite thick body has a very fine carbonation and finishes semi-dry yet lightly sticky.
What I imagine Willy Wonka's Three Course Dinner Chewing Gum would be like, it's a rollercoaster of flavor that's not entirely off-putting, if you know what to expect out of ube.
