Purple brownish colors on the pour, light frothy head and lacing. Strong berry scents, mild citrus background. I don’t think I’ve ever had a black currant, but I’m guessing that’s what the strongest flavor is here, and there’s a pleasant pineapple undercurrent as well. Slightly mouth watering finish, light bodied, a very fruit juice style drink. Mid smoothie style, which is a bit different than most kettle fruited sours I have. Not bad.
