A: Pours a murky thick almost chunky (like a smoothie) dark reddish purple in color with light to moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate garnet red + deep purple colored highlights. The beer has a four finger tall dense creamy fluffy pinkish purple head that slowly reduces to a large patch of thick film covering approximately 95% of the surface of the beer and a thick ring at the edges of the glass. Significant amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate to strong aromas of slightly tart, slightly sweet raspberry + boysenberry + blackberry over the top of moderate aromas of mango + vanilla. Light aromas of slightly tart wheat + oat malts with light to moderate amounts lacto citrus tartness and moderate amounts of fruit + brown sugar + sugary sweetness. Light aromas of cinnamon.

T: Upfront there are light to moderate flavors of slightly tart wheat + oat malts with light to moderate amounts lacto citrus tartness and moderate amounts of fruit + brown sugar + sugary sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of sweet and tart berries (raspberry + boysenberry + blackberry). Finally there are light flavors of cinnamon. No perceptible hop presence and no perceptible bitterness. Moderate lingering tart berry flavors.

M: Thick heavy bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Smooth and almost chewy.

O: Drinks pretty easily with well hidden alcohol and a definite smoothie-like mouthfeel. Enjoyable with lots of sweetness + tartness. Not overly sour.
