The pour is golden yellow with a moderate amount of carbonation. The taste is bready malts, grains, along with some hints of lemon, & hops. Overall, this beer was okay but I've had better in the style. Cheers! B-

Big foam in the Faust stein; nearly clear yellow brew. Very light body with a sudsy mouthfeel. Faint aroma of straw and cereal. Taste is white crackers with a bitter edge. Feels like it has stuff in suspension that gets stuck in the back of the throat. Not the best Zwickel I"ve had, but always like to see what brewers are doing with the style. From the 16 oz can purchased on the west coast. Dated 08/14/23.

A solid Bavarian lager...
The look is true to the style, the smell is the most beautiful of all Bavarian's I have had - bready, nutty, and a hint of sweetness. The mouthfeel was very well carbonated, and the taste was hoppier than I expected. Overall, I enjoyed it, I think it will be looking for some more, hopefully, soon...
