From the 16 oz can in a snifter with a big thanks to Bluejacket74! Cheers Dude!
This solid spiced stout pours a dark blackish brown with a decent head of khaki foam that settles
to a thick ring, thin dusty layer, and sports some light lacing. Nose of dark cocoa, subtle coffee,
cinnamon, subtle nutmeg, and touches of brulee. Flavors follow the nose with some differences
with dark cocoa, subtle coffee, cream, moderate char, brulee, cinnamon, and nutmeg with some
caramel malts but mostly overtaken by char, roast, and grain notes. Mouth feel is full, smooth,
rich, moderately coating, medium light carbonation leaning more towards medium which offers
nice lift, and a bitter malt finish dashed with spice.
Overall, a solid little brew that for being spiced is presented nicely balanced!
Cheers

16 ounce can, canned on 07/14/25 stamped on the bottom of the can. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch tan head that stayed around for a while. Good amount of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like burnt/charred malt, coffee, pumpkin spices and some lactose. Taste is similar to the aroma, with some graininess noticeable in the flavor too. Think the graininess stands out somewhat compared to the other flavors, but wish the other flavors had a little more of a kick. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's smooth and easy to drink with a good amount of carbonation. I liked this one, but I was hoping the PSL characteristics were a little stronger. With that being said it's worth trying!

Good stout!!! Touches on Pumpkin Ale and Sweet/Milk Stout styles, but still solidly an American Stout. Poured from a 16 oz. can into a pint glass, this is one good-looking beer!! Dense brown color with no light coming through and a big foamy brown head. By the time I finished, the head looked a much lighter tan color, with excellent retention throughout. There were thick bands of lacing. Aroma and taste were primarily rich bready malt with lots of coffee. Backing this up were more subdued amounts of pumpkin and sweet lactose. Neither of these were strong enough to even consider this beer anything other than an American Stout. There was an element of sweetness, but not enough to make this a dessert beer. Mouthfeel was smooth and medium rich. Went down easy. I had it with a lamb chop dinner and initially feared it might be too sweet. Not the case, very enjoyable!!!

My first pumpkin beer to start the 2024 pumpkin beer season...
Great looking beer and great smelling - to style and even something I find close to exceptional. However, the mouthfeel was more watery than anyone would expect and the taste is roast-forward. It really tamped down any other flavor based on the can advertising. Overall, a solid stout, I did for the most part enjoy.

September 2024. Hartwell. If I was blindfolded and you would give me this, I wouldn’t even have guessed it was a pumpkin beer spices very impressive slightly bitter overall it’s OK but I don’t think I’d never buy this one again.
