Notes about the brew:
A refreshing and bright hazy pale ale with galaxy hops, conditioned on sea salts and lime zest.
Appearance - Pours a hazy apple juice colour with three fingers of frothy white head.
Smell - citrus and tropical hops, sea salt, lime, bready malts, citrus peel, hint of grapefruit peel, and earthy yeast.
Taste - citrus and tropical hops upfront then quickly goes into the sea salt and lime. The bready malts, citrus peel, hint of grapefruit peel follow suit. The earthy yeast rounds out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes crisp and dry with the salt, lime, and citrus hops lingering.
Overall - A unique twist to the APA style by adding elements of the gose style. This one definitely reminds me of those summer days on the beach. A highly sessionable and flavourful brew.
