Appearance - Pours a hazy golden yellow with five fingers of frothy white head.
Smell - bananas, spicy earthy and floral hops, bubblegum, belgian elements, coriander, bready and doughy malts, and earthy yeast.
Taste - bananas, spicy earthy and floral hops upfront. The bubblegum is lost in translation and is dominated by a candied banana characteristic. The belgian elements and coriander come through next. The bready and doughy malts along with the earthy yeast round out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes smooth with the banana and bubblegum lingering.
Overall - An interesting brew that delivers on the banana front. Although this is not a traditional representation of the style it is quite an interesting take on the style.
