Pours a clear golden bronze with three fingers of off white/tawny coloured foamy head that recedes to an irregular bubbly cap.
Aroma is of bready malt, toast - pumpernickel, caramel; floral with notes of tea.
Malty sweet on the palate - caramel, toast, again floral flavours with leafy hop bitterness.
Light but far from thin or watery mouthfeel with moderate carbonation, malt sweetness balanced nicely by a bright leafy bitterness.
Honestly at 3.5% ABV this is a treat.
