A light rice ale featuring rogue wave coffee roasters. The coffee used in this brew is a beautiful natural processed Ethiopian. It is bursting with blueberry and plum notes with a balanced finish of creamy florals

Another random (one off?) that my lovely wife found for me at Trackside.....it isn't listed here until now and the brewery has it in, I'm guessing, an archived area of their website?
A- This has a lovely off white head, just shy of eggshell in color, and itself is thick, creamy looking, like a cloud, with plenty of puffy foam sitting over top of the liquid. The lacing is equally as good, with a large presence of layered foam clinging to the inside of my tulip, without any sort of sliding...I appreciate this! The beer is a partially chilled orange color, with bronze and/or gold hued background notes when held against light. There is enough clarity to notice the carbonation columns rising to the top in a slow and uniform motion. Overall a very nice looking ale!
S- This is clean smelling overall, with muted notes of black roasted coffee beans and/or grinds....medium roast to be exact. There are underlying aromas of caramel/toffee/molasses sweetness, deep fruity notes and a finish that is of slight hopped bitterness, clean grains and mild creamed coffee.
T- Oh this is a very nice rice ale! The coffee and creamy flavors totally remind me of a creme brulee dessert, with complimentary notes of double double french press, caramel/toffee/blackstrap molasses sweetness...cooked down somewhat. Clean grainy rice, slight fruitness, and a lasting coffee character balance out the finish, providing a tasty ale that makes me crave the next taste!
M/O- So the carbonation is super smooth on this one....not quite nitro territory, but the small bubbles remind me of the style....the body is light.....leaning into medium and not in a syrupy kind of way. This is a refreshing brew, yet very flavorful, and I feel the drinkability would be quite high, with the alcohol only being 4 percent. This would pair well with say an Asian noodle dish, almost providing a cleansing reprieve from savoury garlic/soy/oyster flavors. I will definitely seek this out again (hopefully), and should I find it, will buy at least two- four packs to enjoy.....a session of this would be due! Very nice and recommended!
