I am trying this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a four sample flight. It poured a clear golden with thin white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had a nice combo of bitter tangerine citrus and pine resin notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright semi sweet malt base with bitter tangerine citrus fruit and subtle pine presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

It was a beautiful pour from a tap into a clear pint glass. The beer is a light and bright copper-amber that's somewhat translucent. The nearly half inch head has that nearly perfect thick consistency. Just a tint of the brew's color blends into it. Unfortunately, it's not lasting, but it leaves some nice glass lacing. The aroma is a sharply hopped one, piney likely the best reference. The taste is not bitter, although the hops have a bigger say than the malt. It's body drinks wet, but clean and refreshing. There's enough bite from the hops to remind that this is an IPA.
It may have no pronounced characteristics, it's just the epitome of a well crafted AIPA.

Pours a hazy pale orange with a white head that leaves some nice lace.

Smells of flowers, citrus, and tropical fruit, with a touch of candied malt.

Tastes of floral and citrus hops, a touch of peach and sweet bread malt.

Poured into a narrow pint glass: color is hazy straw gold, head is bright white with fine bubbles, presents 1 finger thick and dissipates to solid 1/4 top with nice lacing.

Smell is simcoe forward - onion/cattiness/light dank, then citrus rind, pine, earth, very light malt.

Taste is similarly simcoe forward - dank, onion, cattiness, citrus rind, pine, light clean malt, subtly sweet.

Mouthfeel is low carbonation, moderate sweetness, moderate bitterness, slow drying on the tongue, fairly bitter.

Overall a nice mixed style ipa - calling it a west coast ipa on the can but has the look and light feel of a hazy/neipa, regardless its hop profile is west coast and drinkability is a bit more west coast as well
