Poured into a grip shaped goblet: color is straw gold, dense haze, head is brighter white and present 1/4 inch thick then dissipates to a thin top with ring on the glass.
Smell is mix of tropicals, grapefruit juice, and light boozy sweetness, limited malt character, maybe some biscuit.
Taste is similar mix of grapefruit juice, tropicals, sweetness from the booze and malt, mixed notes of biscuit and light crackers.
Mouthfeel is low carbonation, moderate/strong sweetness with a thicker hazy ipa feel, then light bitterness and drying.
Overall a mixed, murky, muddled hazy ipa labeled as a double ipa - the haze level and thickness of the wheat and/or oats puts it in that category. Good for mixing with non-hazy ipas and/or belgian beers.
