I brought a tall boy can of this beer home from the brewery whilst in town for my daughter's D3 gymnastics Natty meet. It poured an opaque dark with tan head that is leaving some lace. The scent had common Russian stout and Baltic porter notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with dry semi sweet dark chocolate malt base with hints of anise and vanilla presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

Pours black, with cream colored head. big aroma of dark cocoa with soft bourbon - vanilla, mild caramel, a little oak. similar taste, moderately roast, good balance with drier finish. full bodied, smooth feel
