Average in NEIPA class which is not a bad thing but nothing standing out as unique. Certainly would retry but woul not seek out.

Drawn from a tap, it arrived in a nearly full clear pint glass. There's a modest off-white head, tinted only slightly by the liquid beneath. That is dirty blond, dull and quite opaque. The mild aroma has a grapefruit character. There's plenty of starches to join it in the taste. Likely wheat and oats forward, they don't add much complexity to the taste, but they do soften things out. Yes, it is grapefruit that comes to mind when referencing the hop taste. But it's not at all acidic, as the starches knock that aspect down. For all the starch, this drinks rather lightly. The body is sufficient, so it's a pleasant lightness. There's plenty of tightly knit glass lacing, from top to bottom. This seems to have everything our modern American IPAs strive for. A light, yet smooth body, muted hops, with almost no bite and sorry to say, plenty of blandness, OK, mildness. This is an excellent version of a style that's often overrated.

I am trying this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a four sample flight. It poured a hazy golden with thin white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had dank mango and guava notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with semi sweet malt base with pineapple, guava, and mango presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.
