I am trying this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a four sample flight. It poured an opaque dark mahogany amber with very thin khaki ring head that is not leaving any lace. The scent had sour apple and bourbon notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to sip. There was a heavy molasses malt base with vanilla, dark cherry, fug and bourbon presence. The mouthfeel was fuller in body with smoove carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.
