I am trying this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a four sample flight. It poured a nearly opaque dark mahogany amber with thin off white ring head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had dark roast grain notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with light semi sweet dark chocolate malt base with grain presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.
