This is solid. I would drink it again but not worth the $10. Feel is a little thin and smell is mute but flavor is a nice roast treat. Very good balance of roast vs sweet. Barrel character is not prominent.
So as I'm 3/4 of the way through this I may actually buy it again. Its growing on me even more as it warms and I'm enjoying that it packs as much flavor as it does for 9%. Most good BBA always seem to be in the 12-14% for my liking. So its nice to have one drink similarly without quite as much alcohol.

Slick coffee black with a slow to build creamy moderate tan head leaving a few arms of lace.
Feel too is slick and fluid with a slightly softening mild carbonation cut by a potent peppery bourbon featuring some toffee and cocoa notes. A touch of char comes out as it finishes semi-dry. It's a bit too thin and cola-esque, but there are oaky hints of vanilla.
