They must have ran this through a bad line the first time I had it on draft a year or two ago, because from the bottle this is far superior, so I'm completely redoing my review.
Appearance is chill hazed at first, calming to shimmeringly polished burnt amber-copper with a persistent but airy khaki blanket.
Taste is woody caramel malt with a very light bourbon sting. It's on the hoppier American side with notes of pine and orange rind. Hints of grape and toffee bring up the rear in the medium-light body that's crisp and finishes semi-dry, exhaling some fire that's lightly peppery.
