A wonderful porter with notes of peanuts and chocolate front the roasted malts. This beer’s dark brown color gives way to ruby highlights around the edges. Its peanut butter aroma stays with you through the aftertaste, but picks up a sustained Sumatran-coffee-like roastiness along the way. Never too sweet, this beer has the appropriate coffee-like bitterness to clear the peanuts and get you ready to do it all over again.

Coffee black with clear brown edges and a puffy tan head settling to a persistent film and a thick, bubbly espresso-like collar.
The light but frothy body delivers woody coffee and an almost smoky but pleasant roast. A mild roasted peanut presence emerges before the just shy of dry swallow, while coffee notes bloom further with time to an almost mocha level, overall giving off a semi-bitter constitution.
The peanut butter Buckeye element isn't anywhere near as in your face as a true Buckeye fan might be, but it's a good beer overall, and quite balanced really.
