Lightly sparkling clear amber with a khaki head that quickly fizzles out audibly.
Taste is briney, even dill pickley, with minor notes of white grape. It's lightly tart and muted by a touch of caramelly cracker-like malt, and develops a note of lemon honey as it warms.
The liftingly effervescent but light body finishes semi-dry and fairly clean.
It's weird how impressively good the very first barrel aged sour I had by them was, considering that every single one I've had since has been not only not up to that standard, but subpar in general.
