Nearly fully opaque OJ orange, its fluffy off-white head settles to an uneven blanket and bubbly collar.
This is NEIPA from start to finish, with that classic Birdfish character that's a little more assertive and bitter. There's really only a light hint of added mango and creaminess--this isn't the juice bomb or sugary thick and sweet milkshake you might expect if you've previously sampled any of the wares of the Hands of Tired. It's more of a balanced IPA, clearly in the New England vein, but with more of an Alchemist character, and a slightly thicker body.
