Foggy muddled amber-acorn, maybe glowing a little more salmon under sunlight, with no head at all to conceal the fluid surface.
It starts like apple pie, except crisply tart. Stewed, streamed and spiced apples and pears meet gooey brown sugar and cinnamon glazed pie crust. But, again, all delivered by a tart to sour vehicle.
The medium-light body finishes just dry.
It really is more spice than elderberry. It was largely marketed as an elderberry syrup sour, but it's more like an apple tart or cobbler sour.
