Bad. Really, really poor excuse to to classify as an American pale ale.
I used to greatly dislike birdfish when they first started up for trying too hard and brewing too much trendy shit and very poorly.
I flipped 180 degrees probably 5 years ago and am a huge fan and supporter of them. I love their dabbling into smoked beers, spruce beers, and have NAILED some fresh hop ipas 2 years ago. I since try almost everything they brew with great anticipation..
This one however is an abomination to my palate. Pours like pinapple juice mixed with almond milk.
Smells like must, mold, stagnant water.
Taste like freezer burnt strata hops? I'm not sure. Something super musty and offputing.
Feel I suppose is fine for a 6% beer but I'd argue the abv is quite high for a pale ale with no redeeming flavor.
Overall... ugh. One of the worst birdfish beers I've ever had. Thankful I only bought a single.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
