I can't really define what it is thats so good about this beer but it's exquisite. I would compare it to SNPA as an absolutely just perfectly crafted and balanced beer. It leans maltier than SNPA but is vibrantly fresh with very low key hop bitterness. It almost strattles the line of being a pale ale and a malt forward lager like a dortmunder. The malts have a brown ale taste to them. The hops - an ultra fresh earthiness. Feel drinks so fulfilling that you want to crush it like an ice cold lawnmower beer on a 90 degree day.

Overall I'm literally blown away by the beers birdfish has been putting out recently that I've tried. Gentleman farmer, vogelfish, and woodhall 2 that all dropped in September are 3 of the best beers ive ever had. I've skipped 90% of the beers they've put out all year but previously had campfire songs in the spring which was great too.

Evidently I need to patronize these guys more than I do.
