This place has been around for a little while, but feels brand new after some renovations. The bar seems uniquely skinny, but can seat a relatively decent amount of people, being double-sided. The vibe is somewhere between rustic country and a modern mixture of stone and metal, making it a bit echoey at times even though it's a rather small space. There's also a dining room broken up from the bar by a server station and wine room, enough so that it feels like its own space, as well as a pretty sizeable and unique outdoor patio.
The beer list is relatively varied but moderately sized, offering mostly local craft beer, while the bourbon list might actually be a bigger draw for a certain segment of beer geeks. The moderately sized food menu seems inspired, but is just all right when the food actually comes to your table.
Unless you live in this area, it's a bit out of the way. The service is also hit or miss at the bar, so I'd lean towards recommending eating in the dining room, but I'm not a huge fan of their food either. There's obviously room for improvement then, but I don't get the feeling that their regular clientele are clamoring for it.
