Pours clear gold in color with minimal head. Taste is bread, honey, pilsner malt and light barrel. Light bodied with low carbonation and sweet. Solid pilsner. Want more barrel though.

Poured from a brown 16.9 oz. bottle. Has a golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of grains, honey. Taste is malts, grains, honey, smooth and easy drinking. I didn't get any of the fruitiness described by previous reviewers. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a refreshing beer.

100% opaque, dark honey color. Tight head.

Smells of lovely taffy and fruit cocktail.

Flavor is just delicious. The oak is easily detectable and really the star of the show. Behind that some polite pilsner qualities, fruity esters, and banana, some clove.

Feel is perfect. Smooth, carbonated, creamy.

My favorite pilsner. A steal at 3 dollars.

Sampled yesterday on 10/4/15. Picked this up the day before for $2.49 at the Hy-Vee off 132nd & Dodge in Omaha. Comes in a 500ml (16.9 ounce) good looking bottle. Best By Date of: "09 06 15" on the back label. Bottle chilled down to 36 degrees F in my beer cooler and poured in to a "It's 5 O'Clock Somewhere" pint glass.

Brew pours a hazy apricot in color with a very thin white cap. Some light spotty lacing was seen when sipped. Aroma is of some yeast with a touch of spice and maybe honey even. Pretty much is said for the taste with the smoothness of a touch of honey balancing out the flavor along with the clove and banana. Overall, very smooth and goes down easy. A great deal for the price. Medium-bodied with perfect carbonation.

Poured from a 1 pint 0.9 ounce bottle into a Shaker pint glass, "best by" date 9-6-15.

APPEARANCE: pours a cloudy, straw color with one-finger white head that slowly dissipated until a thin, broken layer of bubbles remained, there is very little lacing on the glass, medium carbonation.

SMELL: sweet, bread and some banana, there is a little euro skunk as well.

TASTE: the taste follows the nose, initially sweet, bread and banana, finishes with that euro skunk hop and a slight metallic taste..

PALATE: medium body and carbonation.

OVERALL: this is a decent beer but I'm just not a fan of the euro skunk flavor so I would not seek this one out again, the price was right at $2.49 a bottle.
