Poured from 330mL bottle into my Higgins Ale Works tulip. Best by 3/22/26.
Appearance: medium golden hue with a moderate haze and a thick head of frothy ivory foam.
Smell: somewhat sweet malt aroma that’s a bit on the light side, with kind of grassy/minty hops. There’s a little bit of a kind of plasticy undertone that I’m not super fond of, as well.
Taste: moderately sweet malt that is considerably better than the aroma. There’s a pretty serious dose of bitterness here, too; it’s not quite balanced but really it’s not bad.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: honestly, other than the aroma, it’s a perfectly cromulent pilsner. Not the best out there, but not the worst.
