Poured from 330mL bottle into my Higgins Ale Works tulip. Best by 3/22/26.
Appearance: rich copper hue with a clear body and a nice effervescence. Head is a finger of frothy ivory foam.
Smell: nice malt aroma with some sweetish caramel character and a nice yeastiness. I like it.
Taste: definitely on the yeasty side, with a bready malt character and a somewhat high bitterness for the style. It all works together quite nicely, though; this is a solid Vienna lager.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good level of carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: a really refreshing and satisfying Vienna lager. It’s not crisp, but it’s got a soft, welcoming vibe that I really like. Quality stuff!
