This was my go-to IPA after Jai Alai. But the last three 6-packs produced a vastly different brew from the pale crisp Graphic IPAs I've enjoyed for months. The last 3 batches were DARK, not pale and bland tasting with little carbonation. I fear the last 3 batches, all purchased from local Publix stores were somehow spoiled with storage and oxidation. Be careful. If your 1st can from a 6-pack is DARK, take it back to the store. BTW, the good crisp light-colored Graphic IPA I rated at 4.5, so big difference from the most recent bad experiences.

Shared a crowler of this beer with some friends from the 'Wego during our Fantasy Football draft at Gunny's house in FLO-RIDA. I drank it from a red solo cup so I did not get color, head or lacing stats. The scent was dominated by tropical and bitter citrus notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with ripe bitter tropical fruit presence that finished bitter. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

 

There is nothing special about this IPA. Just an average IPA from an average brewery. Nothing wrong with it. It’s drinkable, it’s fairly well balanced. Not much on the nose and no distinct flavors.
