HYBRID IPA (7.0% ABV) // Our flagship IPA. Juicy meets West Coast. Mosaic, Citra, and Amarillo hops give it flavors of orange, kumquat, and grapefruit. Refreshingly balanced, mild IBU’s, and rounded body. Made for having more than just one.

Gulf Stream Brewing Co. "Graphic Hybrid IPA"
12 fl. oz. can, "CANNED 11/15/24" and sampled on 12/23/24
Notes via stream of consciousness: A wide thumb's width of off-white foam rests atop a cloudy yellow-gold body. The aroma suggests sweetish malt and hoppy citrus of orange and grapefruit. Not surprisingly, the taste reveals the same with some additional soft berry, apple, and light resin and pine. A stiff bitterness balances it, and apart from having a little bit of extra protein giving it a fuller feeling and smoother mouthfeel it's very much an old school IPA. Ahh, I see the label reads "JUICY MEETS WEST COAST IPA" and I think that nails it. It also says "HOPPY YET SMOOTH" and I'd agree with that as well; it looks like they've already written this review for me. So, it has a little bit more of a body to it but I don't clearly taste oats although I think they're in there, and it's nicely balanced with bitterness and hop flavor and aroma - although I could always use more aroma! It's a solid go-to IPA in my opinion.
