This brewpub has been open only a few months. It is located in a refurbished, large red barn structure along the main street/highway (M-43) that passes through this small community. The interior is all wooden rustic with large barn beams, etc. A small bar with only a few seats is in the center of the pub, and a good number of tables/chairs fill the rest of the place. (The business also houses a tea room.) There is also some seating in a loft area. The vibe is very nice.
For a new brewery, they have their recipes pretty well dialed in to the equipment. There were 9 beers on tap at the time of our visit. We ordered a sampler flight of 4 of them. Each was brewed to style, and there was consistency across our four beers because we scored all of them at 3.75. All 4 of our beers were Belgian-inspired, so the brewer here may tend to prefer that style. (Five of the nine on tap were Belgian.)
We did not order food, but the menu is a simple list that is available on the brewery's website. The website stated they use organic ingredients (but does not say all ingredients) and vegan friendly, We drive past this place several times each year on your way to the Lake Michigan beaches at South Haven, so we'll be stopping in some more.
