huge space in the middle of downtown, fairy new and already making a name for themselves. its expansive on the inside, a neat layout where the brew house is on a lower level and you can look down from the main bar on top of the tanks and everything. the bar is three sided and in the center of the room, they have a big front seating area and a more quiet area in the back, a hundred people or more could be in here at any given time. the decor is nothing too unique or anything, but its a clean, new feeling, and inviting space, even if its maybe a little generic or uninteresting. the beer list was pretty impressive when i was in, a strawberry rhubarb beer, a wit, a scottish ale, some hoppy stuff, even a michelada, among quite a few others. none of the beer blew my mind, but none of it was bad either, and aside from the ipa which was a bit overdone, all of it was nicely executed and sort of in that wide appeal range of stuff where any beer drinker would be happy. the service was friendly and all, she did a nice job keeping up with a busy bar, but it was impersonal and did not enhance or detract from the experience overall. i like the way their packaging looks, think they have some great recipes in their lineup, and expect them to become somewhat of a regional powerhouse before too long. seems like they have a ton of momentum behind them right now and nothing but positive reviews. i had a good time here and look forward to seeing where they go from here...

Cool little store front brewery in touristy section of old downtown. Large U-shaped bar to the right of the entry seats about 20 with a few tables about the floor. Only 5 beers on tap, I had the Citra-Hop-A-Doplis and the Scottish ale, both were very nice, especially the former. Free chili Sunday, chili was great. Friendly bartenders. Definitely a locals hangout.
