Another selection from the SLC trip in early spring. Nice town. Clean. Safe. Sometimes soy arms hate that shit. Is it problematic to a thing of your nature bro?
Pours the kind of brighter yellow moderately hazy appearance with 1/3" white head. The aroma was mostly Citra and Centennial with a dose of Mosaic to give a new feel, light tropical drizzle berries, used to a little but a little wouldn't do it so the dry hopping got more and more. Not here though. Normalized range.
The taste had enough Centennial to give it a more diversified citrus feel, like you get the blossoms, the leaves, the whole damn tree sans bark like a dog with a shock collar on. What would normally be pine is more like orange grove. Not sure where the Belgian yeast is in this, Moderate bitterness right in the right mouthfeel for a hazy for me, the best aspect of this beer. Smooth it a little, juicy it, but don't make it lame trubby no ibu nonsense, give me just a hit or two. I think I had this during lunch one of the days. That reminds me, I need to go buy some more beer, been nice drinking the cellar down in September though.

Look: Pours a golden yellow with over an inch of white head. So much head that I couldn’t finish the pour in one go.
Smell: smells juicy with hints of pineapples, oranges, citrus. Also some hints of pine.
Taste: getting a lot of citrus here with some malt as well. Some banana, and floral taste here too. Pretty nice blend of hops and malt for a session.
Feel: light body, pretty easy to drink. Low abv makes this a decent IPA for watching a football game.
Overall: not bad by Silver Reef, which is a fairly new brewery. Would try this again.

Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a one finger foamy white head that has good retention. Smells of citrus rind and piney hops, undertones if toasted cracker malt. Tastes of grapefruit peel, candied orange, pine and grassy hops. Medium body with moderate carbonation, foamy mouthfeel and finish.

Pours a lovely light, golden straw in color with plenty of frothy white foam. Carbonation looks average. Not much lacing as you drink. The aroma is melon and honey with some floral hoppiness, and a bit of herbal spice. As the beer warms, there's a bit of a sour, Belgian yeast aroma. Taste follows the nose quite well. Zesty melon and lemon peel up front with some wheaty, bubble gum malts in the background and some grapefruit rind on the swallow. Finishes dry with lingering lemon and grapefruit rind. Mouthfeel is a bit thin, carbonation is zesty. It's very drinkable, though, especially at 5% ABV.
Overall this is an interesting brew -- I'm not quite sure what it's trying to be. It's kind of a mixture of a New England style hazy IPA and a Belgian white IPA, but on the lighter side. I wouldn't say it blew me away with quality or complexity, but it's pretty tasty and was very refreshing. This is my first beer from this brewery so I am intrigued to try more.

L:. Pours a very cloudy almost white yellow color with a small white head and no lacing, kinda an ugly beer.
S:. Notes of mango, pineapple, some grapefruit and then a slightly weedy floral hop. Some sweetness and aroma is ok but doesn't really stand out.
T:. Some grapefruit rind, a touch of tropical fruit, some melon, and a medium slightly off putting bitterness
F: Feels watery, and carb is ok.
O:. This is not a very interesting IPA.

On tap at the George's Corner restaurant in St. George today. I can't tell you how pleased I am that I didn't order a full pint of this drek.
The beer pours a bright gold color with fairly decent head retention and light lacing. The beer looked fine enough, but the first sniff was an indicator that this would probably be as good as it was going to get. On the nose, I picked up an onion and ginger ale aroma, with a hint of underlying black pepper. The flavor profile replicated the nose, but with some weird lavender flavor added in. For such a low abv. beer, I was surprised by the heat and noticeable alcohol on the finish. Mouthfeel was medium bodied I guess, with a short, hot finish.
Probably not the worst ipa I've ever had, but it's easily in the top 5 or 10. Was unable (or at least unwilling) to finish the 3 ounce pour I had at the restaurant.

the first i have ever had or seen from these guys, cool art on the cans, although i cant believe breweries are still promoting a "malty backbone" in their ipa types, like, that language and descriptor for the style is so dated, it seems crazy a new brewery would want to identify themselves and their product in that way, especially since the beer isnt malty at at all in the caramel malt balance sense. also the name, come on, is there not an independent thought in the company? yikes. this is very light, just slightly orange to straw colored, hazy but not sloppy looking, and has over an inch of airy white lasting foam on top, a delicate looking hazy brew, lighter than most. curiously is smells a little estery to me, a belgian yeast thing, maybe a little diacetyl too, but oddly enough it works with the hop profile in here, which is true to the name and extremely juicy, fresh oranges and ripe melon to me, almost no appreciable bitterness at all when i taste it, but still pungently hoppy. i think i like this weird and maybe unplanned fermentation element, it keeps this from being samey and one dimensional, which a lot of these are nowadays. its dry for how juicy it is, very well carbonated, and much lighter drinking than many of its peers. nice with some sausage and peppers, and as a refresher among some heavier brews in the session. a decent introduction to this brewery for me, not totally professional execution, but at least its unique. nice for summer. so much new beer in utah, its blowing up!
