Sideward Brewing "Skull Tattoo"
16 fl. oz. can without production codes or freshness dating
Look: A rough pour brings up a massive head of bright white foam atop a very hazy, almost cloudy, golden body with a bit of an orange sheen to it. Very good head retention and lacing.
Smell: Aromas of peach, melon, orange, grapefruit, and mango over a grainy, sweetish malt base.
Taste: The flavor follows the aroma to a T with just a little bit of additional pine added. A moderate bitterness balances it while at the same time leaving it soft and smooth. Some citrus and just a dollop of sweet malt lingers in the mainly dry finish.
Feel: Medium bodied with a soft, fine-bubbled moderate carbonation that combines with the extra proteins to leave it almost velvety.
Overall: While not a hop monster, it still represents the juicy NEIPA style well. Smooth and refreshing, and remarkably easy to drink for a beer of 7.5%.

16oz can poured into a snifter. Purchased fresh from the brewery. Nice citrusy hop aroma. The taste is dangerously drinkable. Overall, a really solid IPA.
