Międzywodzie 30/7 2019. 50 cl bottle from local monopolowy. Soldier from the 100 year war on the label. Pours clear dark brown with an off-white head. Settles as 4 cm thick layer of foam. Climbing up the sides of the glass. Substantial Lacing.
Aroma is rich, dark, and sweet. Brown sugar, roasted - almost burnt - dark malts, butter. Very much on the sweet side.
Light carbonation. Thin, watery, almost flat texture.
Flavor is very sweet. Almost no bitterness present. A bit cloying. Aftertaste is sweet and sugary. Lingers for a while.
Very much too sweet Dunkel. I wonder when the Irish managed to piss off the Poles.
