Poured a copper body with minimal head and lace head down glass. The aroma is mostly a caramel malt-like aroma with some grainy hoppiness. Thick, slightly sweet, sticky, very easy to drink with well-hidden ABV. Not a bad beer at all but not true to style, in my opinion, as I found the malt presence and booze too subdued for a Barleywine and this beer seems to have more of a herbal hoppy flavor with malts in background. Worth trying but don't expect a typical malt-heavy, boozy, slow-sipping barleywine.
