A pour into tulip resulted in a clear, deep amber with around an inch of quickly dissipating head.
Aroma is malty and somewhat sweet. Subtle spices.
I'll be honest - when the description on the can said "ale brewed with cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, allspice, clove, and honey," I figured this might be a spice bomb. I was happy to find it wasn't the case. This is a really enjoyable brew. Mildly sweet malts, none of the spices are over the top, everything is nicely balanced. Flavor-wise, this is in the same family as Great Lakes and 12 Dogs, but the flavor is thankfully unique.
Mouthfeel is a smooth, creamy medium.
Overall, this is a really nice beer that fits squarely into the family of traditional Christmas Ales. Highly recommend.

I am a fan of Working Class Brewery from my old childhood neighborhood. They seem to try to make unique brews, and this one is unlike any other winter warmer out there.
It pours a unique, lighter shade of brown with very little fizz. The aroma is striking. It has a sweet spice smell, dominated more by honey and clove than all those other spices, but the combo is cool. Similarly, the taste is out of the ordinary with lots of sweetness and a nice balance of all the various flavors. The barrel aging adds that woody booziness and mellows everything together. You know you are drinking a premium winter warmer, not a "mass" market drink.
Highly recommended. This is a Christmas ale worthy of the most discerning palates, and maybe not so much for Joe sixpack (no offense, Joe). At $4.38/can it is a little pricey, but worth it!

12 ounce can, canned on 10/30/2020. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a mostly clear reddish/amber color with about an inch tan head that stuck around a while. There's also a good amount of lacing. The brew smells like cinnamon, clove, ginger, nutmeg, and honey. I think the taste is similar to the aroma, with the addition of some bready malt and allspice. All the flavors are well balanced, no one flavor seems to overpower the others. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's smooth and a bit slick with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought it was a good all around Christmas Ale, if you come across any pick some up!

Canned on 10/30/20. 12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours amber with auburn and ruby hues; nice clarity; creamy khaki head that falls slowly leaving great thick retention and sticky lacing. The aromas have a blend of cinnamon, apple and caramel. Malts are there. The flavors follow the nose perfectly. More cinnamon and spices, but the spices are balanced and not overwhelming or overpowering. Ginger comes through along with some nutmeg. More caramel along with some hints of vanilla and cocoa. More apples in the mix. The honey does its thing. Subtle sweetness. Solid malt backbone. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied with moderate carbonation. It's fluffy, smooth and easy to drink.
This is a solid Christmas Ale. It has everything that you'd expect from a "Northeast Ohio Christmas Ale". I like how the spices basically shine without becoming a spice bomb. It's enjoyable stuff.
