Having this beer on tap at the brewery. This beer draws a very dark, almost black color with a dark tan, creamy looking head that’s about half an inch thick when first drawn and served. Head settles to a very thick ring lining on the inside of the glass, a nice film layer of surface foam, and decent lacing. Aromas of roasted malts, nuts, chocolate, A bit of coffee, and some earthy half notes that are fairly subtle. A very similar flavor profile, with roasted malts and nuts, chocolate sweetness, and black coffee bitterness that is rounded out with an earthy hop presence. Has a smooth, slightly gritty and oily, slightly dry, medium to full body mouth feel with moderate carbonation. All of the Flavors coat the inside of my mouth nicely and linger there for quite a while after each sip for the aftertaste. A very nice representation of this style, and an overall very enjoyable beer.

From the 12 oz can in a snifter via Bluejacket74!
This solid little stout pours a dark brown with a decent
head of off white foam that settles to a thick ring, thin dusty
layer, and sports some light lacing. Nose of deeply roasted nuts
with touches of coffee and dark cocoa amidst some char.
Flavors are on point with peanuts, roast, dark cocoa, touches
of dark coffee, and char. Nice mouth feel; medium body,
medium light, soft carbonation that is pleasant, and a roasted
nutty finish that is lightly dry.

Overall, a SOLID brew

Cheers

I grew up not far from the Kamm's Corners neighborhood, and having a brewery there was unthinkable then (in the 1960's). Signs of culture.

This was a pleasant surprise coming out of the can. Wonderful peanut butter stout smell. Of course my wife said it smells like beer, and she's right, just with loads of peanut butter, OK?

The taste is pleasant, with a sweet stout base and lots of peanut butter taste. Nothing really fancy. It is a good value - not overpriced.

Recommended. If we ever start going out maybe we could stop by the old neighborhood. 8.23.2020

12 ounce can, canned on 05/04/20 stamped on the bottom of the can. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours dark brown with about an inch or so tan head. Head retention and lacing are both decent enough. I like the aroma, the brew smells like peanut butter, chocolate, vanilla and roasted malt. I think the taste is pretty much just like the aroma, but there's also a slight burnt/charred flavor noticeable too. For the most part it's a sweet tasting brew for sure. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a bit slick and creamy with a moderate amount of carbonation. Easy enough to drink. I think it's a good peanut butter stout, glad I bought this the other day! $11.99 a 6-pack.

Canned on 4/3/20. 12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours a dark brown, almost black; fluffy khaki head that falls leaving nice retention and sticky lacing. The aromas have peanut butter and hazelnuts leading the way. Hints of vanilla and chocolate. Malts are there. The flavors follow the nose. More peanut butter and hazelnut. More hints of vanilla and chocolate. Subtle sweetness. Low to no bitterness. Solid malt backbone. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied with moderate to active carbonation. It's extremely fluffy, slightly creamy, smooth and easy to drink.

This is a nice peanut butter stout. It basically has everything that you'd look for in a peanut butter stout/porter. Well done.
