Having this beer on tap at Brewery, this beer draws a fairly a clear, medium to dark amber/copper color with a fluffy white head that's about 2/3 of an inch thick when first poured that settles to a very thick surface coating and excellent lacing. Aromas of some slightly toasted, bready malts, a bit of roasted nuts, and some earthy hops. Also some earthy hops that provide a nice bitterness. A very similar flavor profile, with the aforementioned slightly toasted bready malts, some roasted nut, and some earthy hops. Also a slight hint of caramel or chocolate along with a slight hint of fig and apricot. An earthy hop bitterness rounds out the taste. A well balanced and excellent, nicely complex flavor profile with lots of little subtleties going on. Has a crisp, also smooth, medium bodied, try mouth feel. All of the flavors, along with the dryness stick around on my palate for a while after each step for the aftertaste. A very enjoyable beer here.
