Having this beer on tap at the Brewery, this beer draws a fairly a clear, medium to dark golden color with a fluffy white head that's about 2/3 of an inch thick when first poured that settles to a very thick surface coating and excellent lacing. Aromas of some bready malts along with some barnyard funk and cherry notes. A similar flavor profile, with the aforementioned bready malts and some barnyard funk and cherry tart that gives just the right amount of sourness. No discernible hop flavor is here, and that is not unexpected for a beer of this style. Has a crisp, also smooth, light to medium bodied mouth feel with moderate carbonation. Has a clean, slightly dry finish and aftertaste. A pretty nice beer here overall.
